Speakers Series Social Impact of Technology

Jorin Weatherston is currently at the University of Victoria, working in Dr. Margaret-Anne Storey's Computer Human Interaction & Software Engineering Lab (CHISEL) as a Research Programmer on a data visualization research project in collaboration with graduate students and industry leaders.  Jorin previously worked at Redbrick as a software programmer. Redbrick is a Victoria-based software developer whose products reach around the world.

Jorin will be speaking about ​the effects connected mobile technology has on individuals, what that might mean for human cultures.  He will discuss possible changes to the way software is developed.​
