Community led housing, why does it make sense in Victoria today?

Margaret Critchlow is a retired professor of Anthropology (York University) who learned about the importance of community connection in rural Vanuatu (SW Pacific). She and her husband have lived in Harbourside Cohousing (Sooke) for the past 10 years. In addition to helping create Harbourside, she has enjoyed supporting the creation of West Wind Harbour Cohousing (Sooke), Ravens Crossing Cohousing (Sidney) and now Esquimalt Village Cohousing.
