All-ages venue takes shape in downtown Victoria school space

The Open Studios in Nootka Court has become a creative hub hosting everything from punk rock shows to improv theatre and eight-hour tea ceremonies.

The Open Studios is an all-ages creative arts hub in downtown Victoria, tucked inside Nootka Court at the Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry. After school, we Open our doors to the community offering two music studios where people can rehearse and record. There’s also a fantastic stage for workshops and live music performances. We focus on low-barrier, community-powered programming that helps artists build skills and confidence, connect across cultures, and create accessible arts experiences in Victoria.
