Sanctuary Youth Centre / Club AGM

Darin will give us an update on the Sanctuary and Harbourside's sponsorship. He will discuss how COVID has changed the needs of kids on the street and how they have responded.   We will also be holding the club AGM.

Darin Reimer has been the Executive Director of Sanctuary Youth Centre for the past 7 of the Centre’s 16 years of operation at Humboldt and Blanchard. He is a dynamic, thoughtful and caring leader with a heart for youth on Victoria’s streets. He loves to get to know each youth, try to understand their struggles, their background and why they may be in their situation. Then he and his staff come alongside them to assist them in getting their lives back on track. Prior to taking the helm, he worked as a Pastor in cross cultural contexts with a Victoria Chinese Church and in a predominantly Filipino Church in Saskatoon. He has been married for 25 years to Cora and together they have three daughters aged 23, 22 and 18. He is also a father figure for numerous youth on the street.  When, not at work (which is not very often) he enjoys working out, bike riding and carpentry.
