Amanda Proznick brings over 40 years of experience in health care, including 36 years with Island Health in a range of acute care and community settings. She currently serves as the Regional Manager for the Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program at Island Health.

In her role, Amanda is focused on ensuring the quality and safety of MAiD services across Vancouver Island. She is dedicated to supporting both the public and health care professionals in understanding and navigating the MAiD process. Her extensive background in health care, combined with her commitment to ethical, patient-centered care delivery, guide her work in this important area.
