Ray Brougham is the President and CEO of Rainhouse Manufacturing Canada Ltd., a leading CNC machining, electronics, and contract manufacturing company based in Victoria, British Columbia. Since founding the company in 2001, Ray has expanded Rainhouse to over 20 employees, serving Global Defense Contractors, the Canadian Navy, and more than 150 clients in the technology and medical sectors. In this presentation, Ray will share insights into his career path, the founding and growth of Rainhouse, and his active role in various economic development and sponsorship efforts. Ray Brougham's journey from a millwright to the CEO of Rainhouse Manufacturing Canada Ltd. exemplifies dedication and innovation. Starting as a Red Seal journeyman millwright in 1981, Ray gained valuable experience in the pulp and paper industry. An alumnus of the University of Victoria with a degree in mechanical engineering, he actively contributes to community development through his involvement with UVic's Engineering and Computer Science Faculty and his service on the COAST board.
