Join us at a Foot Care Clinic and give your feet the attention they deserve. Whether you're dealing with problem feet, diabetes, unexplained pain, corns, calluses, or simply seeking a general foot health check, this event is tailored to your needs.
Who's providing the care?  A dedicated team of nurses brings their extensive experience in healthcare to this event, focusing on the new skill of foot care nursing. They have completed their theory and are eager to gain practical experience to enhance their capabilities.
What can you expect at the Student Clinical?
  1. Comprehensive Assessment: We'll begin with a detailed medical history intake to understand your specific needs.
  2. Physical Assessment: Our trained nurses will perform a thorough examination of your feet.
  3. Neuropathy and Circulation Check: Ensuring your feet are in optimal health, we'll assess neuropathy and circulation.
  4. Shoe Evaluation: If you're having issues with your footwear, we'll take a look and provide referrals when necessary.
  5. Treatment time: Expect the treatment to last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
  6. What you need to bring:  Your feet and any questions

Please note that while Nursing Foot Care is an essential component of maintaining foot health, it's not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your physician for serious health concerns.
Nursing Foot Care Treatment includes:
  • Nail Care: Trimming and filing of nails.
  • Reduction of Thick and Fungal Nails: For improved foot health.
  • Corn and Callus Care: Addressing common foot problems.
  • Management of Dry Cracked Skin: Ensuring your skin stays healthy and smooth.
  • Education: Learn more about foot health and how to care for your feet.
  • Diabetic Assessment: Specialized care for those with diabetes.
  • Lotion Application: Pamper your feet with a soothing lotion.
  • Referrals: We'll guide you to the appropriate healthcare professionals if needed.
This event is a great opportunity for you to learn more about your feet and how to care for them.  Additionally, by participating, you're helping nurses gain the practical experience they need to provide essential foot care services to those who truly need it.
Don't miss out on this chance to give your feet the care they deserve and to support nurses in their journey to becoming skilled foot care practitioners.
