Connections Place and Oak Bay United Church Affordable Housing

Our members are involved in many other community service organizations in our community.  Two of our members will provide a quick update on what they are doing:

Georgina Patko will talk about Connections Place and its Grand Opening on Feb. 21st.  Connections Place provide people with mental illness a place to gain confidence, respect, hope and opportunity.  Their doors are open to friendship, education and employment for people living with mental illness.

Cheryl Thomas will talk about Oak Bay United Church's Affordable Housing project.  Oak Bay United Church proposes to build affordable housing next to the church for seniors, families and young professionals with limited incomes, at no cost to the taxpayer.
