Call For Speakers
Be the inspiration. Share your ideas among community leaders.
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad. Rotary Club of Victoria-Harbourside was started in 1980 with 33 members representing diverse aspects of the community. Today we have over 90 members and meetings have around 60 – 80 attendees each week.
Each week we have a speaker on a topic of interest to our members. If you have a suggestion for a presentation to our membership, we'd love to hear from you. Our speakers generally talk for about 20 minutes, including questions and answers. Subjects can be news happenings, community concerns and other ideas that are of interest to our membership. We like to think "If our community is talking about it, it would be great to have an expert discuss it at our club."
While we cannot accommodate every speaker proposal, we will respond to your query.

Afterwards the Club presented her with an honorary Paul Harris Fellowship, a recognition of her contributions to our province. Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary, and the fellowship is Rotary'd highest honour.
