Key tenets of Rotary International are contained in Rotary’s Guiding Principles, click here:
  • The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
  • The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do
    1. Is it the TRUTH?
    2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
    3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
    4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
  • The five Avenues of Service provides the structure for how we channel our commitment to service at home and abroad and which are the foundation for our Club’s activity.
    1. Club Service
    2. Community Service
    3. International Service
    4. Youth Service
    5. Vocational Service
Rotary is dedicated to six areas of focus to build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever, click here. In July 2020 Supporting the Environment was announced as a seventh area of focus, click here.
